BANGALORE:“Till now I had lost all hope. I was calling Indians as dead citizens in my films but now it has changed with Anna Hazare’s movement,” said Kannada actor and director Upendra who visited Freedom Park on Saturday amidst much fan frenzy.Upendra appreciated Hazare’s efforts and called him a great man.“At present, there are nearly 20,000 people gathered here at Freedom Park and this is because of Anna,” Upendra said.He further requested the people to come forward and protest at Freedom Park or near their homes.“It is now or never. If you cannot come here, then at least protest near your homes,” he observed.
