KEONJHAR: Over Rs 4.68 lakh was looted from a finance company by criminals at gunpoint in Dhangarapada area of Keonjhar town on Saturday.
Sources said a staffer of CMS financing agency Sudhansu Sekhar Naik had collected the money from Chola Mandalam Finance Company at Dhangarapada at about 12.30 pm when two unidentified motorcycleborne criminals rushed towards him and snatched his cash bag at gunpoint. They fled towards the Sambalpur road on NH6. A case has been registered.

A few days back, another loot was made in the same area when some criminals snatched Rs 2 lakh from an employee of Jagadamba Transport company. No arrests have been made in this case so far.
