New Delhi: Petrol will cost Rs 1.63 more per litre, excluding state taxes, from midnight on Friday, state-run Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) announced.
The IOC said that it had to hike prices due to volatility in the rupee value and hardening of international motor spirit (MS) prices in the international market.
Following are the revised prices of petrol in four metros after oil firms hiked rates with effect from midnight tonight.
Delhi - Current Price (Rs): 74.10, Revised Price- 76.06, Increase - 1.96
Kolkata - Current Price (Rs): 81.57, Revised Price - 83.62, Increase - 2.05
Mumbai - Current Price (Rs): 81.57, Revised Price - 83.63, Increase - 2.06
Chennai - Current Price (Rs): 77.48, Revised Price - 79.55, Increase - 2.07
