HYDERABAD: The photographer of a vernacular daily was found dead under suspicious circumstances on the outskirts of a village under Hayathnagar police limits on Sunday.The deceased, Mahesh Kumar (25) was working as a photographer for a city newspaper and was a resident of Uppuguda.Mahesh’s body was found on the outskirts of Koheda village by locals who went to rear cattle.Hayathnagar police inspector B Bhaskar said Mahesh’s body did not bear any injuries.Police said Mahesh fell in love with a woman from Koheda and used to frequently visit the village.“Mahesh’s belongings including his identity card were kept on his vehicle which was parked at a distance from where the body was found,’’ Bhaskar said. Police suspect Mahesh might have consumed poison.Police are also investigating whether he was poisoned.Hayathnagar police registered a case under Section 174 (suspicious death) and are investigating.
