Kudankulam: Kudankulam witnessed a sea of protestors as the agitation against the nuclear power plant turned into a 'Jal Satyagraha' on Thursday. Hundreds of protestors entered the sea waters against the loading of fuel into the reactors of the plant.
The protestors raised black flags and formed human chains in the sea as more and more people continued to join the 'Jal Satyagraha'. The protestors also included women and children in huge numbers.
There was no police presence in the area. However, coastguards were carrying out an aerial surveillance in the area.
Kudankulam activist Jayashraj said the villagers will protest in sea water every day and that they were ready to die for stooping the operations at the nuclear power plant.
