New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday just smiled, when asked to comment on the Bihar Assembly poll outcome, in which RJD-led alliance faced a severe drubbing.
Manmohan Singh just smiled at waiting reporters at the Parliament House, who sought his reaction to the end of the 15-year rule of the RJD, which is the second largest constituent in the Congress-led coalition at the Centre.
The Prime Minister had come to Parliament House to have informal discussions with political leaders on the eve of the winter session of Parliament, which is likely to be a stormy affair.
For the new Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, the Centre's help will be crucial in getting Bihar back on the progress path and only time will tell if the Centre and the state can work in tandem towards that goal.
