Mumbai: Notwithstanding cases against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray whose supporters attacked north Indians here, the police on Wednesday went to his house and reviewed the security for him.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police DM Phadtre met Raj and discussed with him the security cover around his residence.
"I met Raj Thackeray during a routine round to talk about the security cover in the area around his residence and appealed for restraint to be observed by everybody for maintaining peace," Phadtare said.
