New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee will Saturday begin a three-day trip to West Bengal to attend a series of academic and cultural functions, it was announced Friday.
According to an official communique, he will address the 160th annual general meeting of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Saturday.
He will attend the 125th year celebrations of Ghatal Vidyasagar High School and inaugurate its new building at Ghatal in West Midnapore Sunday.
He will deliver the 7th Vidyasagar Memorial Lecture at Vidyasagar University the same day.
On Monday, he will lay the foundation stone of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu Museum at Sri Gaudiya Math, Kolkata.
