CHENNAI: The owner of a property development company lodged a complaint with the suburban police on Friday claiming he was receiving harassing calls from his former employees.
Dickson of Adambakkam, owned a property development company and employed over 50 people. In his complaint, Dickson said that on May 26, he received a call where the anonymous caller stunned the developer by reportedly asking how many girls he had and how much he would charge for an hour. Soon he was receiving several such calls asking for girls and threatening he would be kidnapped if did not provide details about girls. "I was harassed by these calls and I could not focus on my business," his complaint said. A few days ago, an anonymous caller told him over the phone that he got Dickson's contact details on a popular online portal. The complainant alleged that three of his former employees, who were sacked from their jobs three months ago, might be behind the calls. His complaint was forwarded to the Cyber Crime Cell of the suburban police commissionerate.

While the police were silent on the issue, sources said the email alleged that the United States of America was acting against the interests of Muslims and threatened to blow up the US consulate and other American institutions.
