To clear the ensuing dasara and diwali rush South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to attach an additional sleeper class coach for four trains and an additional AC 3-tier coach for two trains temporarily.
According to a press release issued by South Western Railway from Oct 5 to Nov 30 an additional sleeper class coach each would be attached to Tata-Yesvantpur Weekly Express (train number 12889) that starts from Tata on Fridays and Howrah-Mysore Weekly Express (22817) that starts from Howrah on Fridays. Similarly from Oct 8 to Dec 9 Yesvantpur-Tata Weekly Express (12890) that starts from Yesvantpur on Mondays would have an additional sleeper coach. Mysore-Howrah Weekly Express (22818) that starts from Mysore on Mondays would have additional coach from Oct 8 to Dec 3.
It also said an additional AC 3-tier coach would be attached from Oct 3 to Nov 28 to Howrah-Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam Weekly Express (12571) on Wednesdays and from Oct 5 to Nov 30 for Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam-Howrah Weekly Express (12572). ENS
