Ravishankar Prasad raps Harish Rawat over Modi remarks
Reacting sharply to Chief Minister Harish Rawat's remarks that his contest was directly with BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in the polls, senior BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad on Sunday said such remarks were not good for his own political health.

Reacting sharply to Chief Minister Harish Rawat's remarks that his contest was directly with BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in the polls, senior BJP leader Ravishankar Prasad on Sunday said such remarks were not good for his own political health.

BJP's chief media coordinator, Prasad, who was in Dehradun to campaign for his party nominees said, "I was surprised to hear after my arrival here that Harish Rawat is going about telling people that his fight is with Modi. He is the first Congress Chief Minister to have said so. Till now only Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi were saying Modi was their principal rival," he said.

Advising the Chief Minister to refrain from making such remarks, he said if his party colleagues conveyed the matter to the Congress high command, it would bode ill for his political health.
