Re-opening of schools postponed to June 15

PUDUCHERRY: Following in the footsteps of Tamil Nadu, the Puducherry government postponed the reopening date for schools here from June 1 to June 15.As per an announcement made by Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Tuesday, owing to the modification of text books by TN, all government and private schools here, including those in Karaikal would reopen only on June 15 . Schools in Puducherry and Karaikal function under the TN Board of Education.
