Did you know that infertility is the modern day cancer, says the sperm obsessed Dr Chadda. Brad Pitt, Dhoni, Lady Gaga, Aishwarya or Beckham, if you wish for a tailor-made baby, Dr Chadda is the man to go to.

While searching for his 'Indian Alexander', Dr Chadda (Annu Kapoor) bumps into Vicky Arora (Ayushmann Khurrana). Vicky is a spoilt, unemployed Punjabi boy. His dog is named Whisky and he has a nagging, but interesting mother. Lured by quick money, Vicky becomes a full time sperm donor. With regular perks coming in, Vicky soon 'fathers' 53 children. However, his shortcut to affluence lands him in a big trouble and that's what the film is about.

'Vicky Donor' is a laugh riot from start to end. It's amazing how the film effortlessly entertains you without resorting to slapstick. A sound script by Juhi Chaturvedi is the soul of the film. Music of 'Vicky Donor' compliments the story. 'Pani Da' and 'Rum Whisky' are already topping the popularity charts.

Debutant Ayushmann gets full marks for his performance in' Vicky Donor'. Better known as 'Roadies 2' winner and television host, Ayushmann surely has a long way to go in Bollywood. Dominated by the history, arts and science of sperm donation, Ashima Roy (Yami Gautam) adds a different dimension to 'Vicky Donor'. Their chemistry works for the film.

Supporting cast of the film is an add-on. It's hard to imagine anyone else other than Annu Kapoor playing Dr Chadda. Vicky's mother (Dolly Ahluwalia) and Biji (Kamlesh Gill) are the surprise package of the film. Pace of the movie slows down towards the end as you see Vicky and Ashima almost separating.

Delhi is almost a character in the film. Be it the CR Park and Lajpat Nagar rivalry, lovers point in Connaught Place or Dr Chadda's infertility clinic in a dingy Daryaganj bylane, 'Vicky Donor' captures the capital in many colours.

Shoojit Sircar proves himself as a director with 'Vicky Donor'. The film which starts with 'Sperm bhi koi donate karne ki chiz hai', ends with a positive message without too much of preaching. Good effort by producer John Abraham who also turned an item boy for the film. It seems, John has worked hard on his dancing skills.

Overall, 'Vicky Donor' is a lighthearted fun film, which meets expectations. It definitely deserves a watch.
