New Delhi: It has been rumoured for a while that 'Avan Ivan' fame actor Madhu Shalini will soon make her B'wood debut with director Ram Gopal Varma's 'Department'. With the movie set to hit screens on May 18, Madhu has now started shoot for her next untitled Hindi project for RGV, again.
Another flick in the horror genre which the 'Sarkar' filmmaker is best known for, the Hindi movie will have Madhu play a role which is nothing like the one she did in 'Department'. "I play a mafia in 'Department'. I'm overwhelmed for having received an offer to play a role so completely contrasting to the one I got in my debut flick," she says.
Madhu has sure stunned everyone with her grunge look in 'Department' with a smoke in one hand and pistol in the other. "Most of those who caught a glimpse of my look in the movie couldn't believe I could look like that," she says.
While she is not at liberty to say much about her second movie with RGV, she says actress Manisha Koirala has an important role in the movie.
Ask about Manisha, and Madhu says, "She is a sweetheart and is so pretty. I have always admired her in all of her movies and am thrilled to work with her. She is also very level-headed and simple." Madhu is happy that she and the 'Dil Se' actress have a good number of scenes together in the movie. The actor says she has been offered good Tamil scripts but is unable to agree to them due to lack of dates.
