New Delhi: Samsung has silently introduced a new smartphone in India named "Galaxy Trend". The phone is listed on the Samsung India eStore for Rs 8,700, while the phone is available for purchase on e-commerce stores like Flipkart and Snapdeal for Rs 8,490. There is officially no word on the availability of the smartphone from Samsung.
The Galaxy Trend has a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is a dual SIM phone and is packed with a 1500mAh battery. Running Android 4.0 OS, the phone has a 3 megapixel rear camera.
It has an internal memory of 4GB, which is expandable up to 32GB. The phone is powered by a 1GHz processor coupled with 512MB RAM.
