Scribes and photographers protest over Mumbai gangrape incident

Journalists and photographers in Puducherry on Saturday staged a demonstration condemning the gangrape of the 23-year-old photojournalist in Mumbai.

Shouting slogans, they demanded strong action against the guilty.

They also said journalists should be ensured protection so that they would be able to discharge their duty in a free and fair manner.

Puducherry Journalists Association President MP Mathimaharaja led the demonstration.
