A security supervisor was allegedly murdered by two of his colleagues who felt the he was the behind their transfer. The incident took place at Chinnappanahalli on Marathalli Outer Ring Road late on Saturday night.
The victim has been identified as Devakar Mogh, 30. The accused, Amaresh Burman and Kamakya Burman, both aged 28 years, are absconding and the police are on the look out for them. All were employees of G4S security group.
The police said the victim and the accused were working at a private company in Mahadevapura for more than three years. They were also staying together at a house in Mathew John Apartments in Chinnappanahalli. Amaresh and Kamakya were transferred to a company near Hosur. They thought that Devakar was the reason for their transfer and allegedly hatched a plot to eliminate him.
“Accordingly, both came to Devakar’s house on Saturday night and picked up a quarrel with him. Later, they hit his head with a dumbbell and stabbed him with a knife and fled away. Devakar succumbed to injuries on the spot,” the police added.
