Several intelligence operatives have been gunned down across northwest Pakistan over the past few years.
Islamabad: A senior intelligence official was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan's northwestern Peshawar city on Tuesday, police said.
The gunmen fired at Intelligence Bureau Assistant Director Sirajuddin at Dora Road in Peshawar this evening as he was going home from a mosque after prayers.
The gunmen escaped after the attack.
No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
