Set up Malayalam varsity in district

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Deseeya Malayalavedi has demanded that a Malayalam University should be established in Thiruvananthapuram district. The demand was made during celebrations to mark the anniversary of state formation here. K Raman Pillai inaugurated a declaration of rights demanding the university. Former MP Pannian Raveendran inaugurated the Keralappiravi Day celebrations. Deseeya Malayalvedi president Kazhakootam Najmudeen inaugurated a signature campaign for the Malayalam University. The meeting also condoled the death of Minister T M Jacob remembering him as an ‘’able administrator and a blessed politician.’’
