Seven-day camp looks to heal its attendees

CHENNAI: Most of us are often anxious about our own self and apprehensive about our image and well being. At times we feel happy and sad, all at once, without knowing the reason behind it. Everyone should know the causes of such occurrences so that they are able to understand themselves better.This was the focus at the opening of a seven-day camp conducted by Life Care and Peace Mission,  here in the city. The camp will lay equal stress on both mind and body, the organisers informed. With respect to mind, the camp will help in searching for  hidden traits in each one and bring about an awakening. Pranayam, asanas and a balanced diet will help make a healthy body. Chhotimaa of Life Care and Peace Mission, said, “On completion of this glorious life camp, the attendees will surely get the key to a successful and blissful life. Also, people will be taught how to manage and balance life, time, stress and family, without much hassle.”Comparing the brain with a cellphone battery, she said, a brain should always be charged using meditation. Apart from this, the week-long camp will also focus on personality development, stress control, positive-thinking, time management, pranayam, self confidence, human relationships, balanced diet, conversational skills and leadership ability,  how to be an efficient orator and finally, lessons on ‘Don’t say ’Yes’ when you want to say No’, Chhotimaa said.The focus of this camp will be on getting rid of heart problems, diabetes, high or low blood pressure problems, asthma, stress, joint pain, migraine, paralysis, acidity, depression, sleep disorders and other such physical and mental illnesses.
