Mumbai: Shandar Amrohi, son of legendary filmmaker Kamal Amrohi, has died in Goa. He was 68.
He died on Sunday morning. Reportedly, Amrohi was in Goa to shoot for a music video based on his step mother Meena Kumari's poems. Amrahi was one of the owners of the Kamalistan Studios in Jogeshwari in Mumbai.
"Yes, my brother is no more. The cause of the death we will reveal later. I am in Mazgaon Kabristan near Byculla right now for his last rites," Tazdar Amrohi, Shandar's younger brother said.
A few months back, Amrohi had announced a tell-all biography to be penned by Barkha Roy.
