New Delhi: Shilpa's ‘touted tormentor’ Jade Goody is in Delhi and is gaining her share of popularity for doling out dollars to the slum children. During the racism row (flared by Jade Goody’s remarks on British reality show Celebrity Big Brother) Shilpa’s father had invited her to stay with the Shetty family.
However, now when she is in India, Shilpa has chosen to ignore to the reality TV star. The hospitality that Shetty’s had promised is missing. "Shilpa is not interested in being used as a PR tool by Jade Goody. Jade's purpose of visiting India becomes clear because she has come with her agent," Shilpa's PR person was quoted by entertainment portal www.bollyvista.com as saying.
"India is full of very tolerant people and everyone is welcome. Shilpa doesn't hold any grudges or animosity for anyone and that's the way she is. After Big Brother, she's moved on in life," the website further quotes Shilpa’s agent.
After Big Brother won her global sympathy and recognition, she hopes that her fortunes in Bollywood also changes. She is expected to find a lot of work in London, where she has the toughest PR person in the business handling her portfolio: Max Clifford.
