Acting on a tip off, a STF team raided Sandalpur village on Sunday night and arrested the arms smugglers Pramod Singh and his son Ranvir Kumar and seized two regular rifles, 52 ammunition, Rs. 2.50 lakh cash and two four-wheelers from their possession, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Manoj Kumar said.
Natives of Khagaria district, the father and son were arrested in the past with an AK-47 gun, but later released after completion of sentence, he said.
The two were being interrogated by the STF and police officials about arms smuggling network being run by them, the SP added.
