Gurdaspur: Days after the Pathankot terror attack, all the Indian Air Force bases in the Western sector have been put on high alert after two suspicious men in army uniform were spotted near Tibri military station.
Acting on the intelligence input, the entire area around Tibri military station has been cordoned off and it is suspected that more trespassers are still hiding in Gurdaspur.
SSP, Gurdaspur Gurpreet Singh said, "Two suspicious persons were seen in Pandher Village in Gurdaspur. The army has launched a massive search operation following suspected movement in Tibri camp."
Senior police and district officials rushed to the spot to carry out a joint search operation.
There were also reports that five terrorists had sneaked into the border area of Gurdaspur and Pathankot, following which a high alert has been issued.
