In a heart-wrenching incident in Delhi’s Rohini area, a 15-year-old girl died on Tuesday evening after her hand and head became entangled in a dough-kneading machine used for making momos and spring rolls. Confirming the incident on Wednesday, July 31, Delhi police said the incident occurred in Begumpur area, where the machine was operating inside a room. The victim was working when her hand got caught in the machine, pulling her head into the dough-kneading tub.
According to a senior police officer, a PCR call was received at the Begumpur police station at 7:18 pm on Tuesday reporting that a girl was trapped in a dough kneading machine near Hanuman Chowk in the area. The officer stated that a team promptly responded and upon arrival, it was observed that although the machine was not large in size, initial findings indicated that the girl’s hand had become trapped inside the tub, causing the machine to pull her further in.
