SABARIMALA: The procession carrying the Thanka Anki reached Lord Ayyappa Temple on Monday evening and deeparadhana was conducted after adorning the anki on the idol of Lord Ayyappa. Earlier, Thantri Kandararu Maheswararu and Melsanthi N Balamurali received the Thanlka Anki in front of the Sreekovil. Travancore Devaswom Board president M Rajagopalan Nair, member K Sicily, Devaswom Commissioner N Vasu, special commissioner S Jagadees, Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam national general secretary Kummanam Rajasekharan, were among those who received the Thanka Anki on arrival in front of the golden flagmast. Earlier, the Thanka Anki was received at Saramkuthi by Sabarimala Devaswom executive officer M Satheeshkumar, administrative officer K Rajan etc. At Pampa, the Anki procession was given a traditional reception under the leadership of Pampa Devaswom administrative officer Sajibabu and special officer Gopalakrishna Pillai at 1 pm. After the reception, the anki was kept in front of Pampa Lord Ganapathi temple before leaving for Saramkuthi at 3 pm.
