Thieves break into 5 houses in Hayathnagar

HYDERABAD: Burglars created havoc in Hayathnagar by entering five different houses on late Saturday night and fleeing with more than 30 tola gold and 10 tola silver. Cyberabad police said that thieves gained entry first at the residence of one Survaiah and stole 12 tola of gold jewellery, 10 tola of silver and Rs 70,000 cash. Subsequently, they gained entry into the house of Sudhakar Reddy, Shankar, Nagaraju and Ramachandra Reddy. "In all these houses, the thieves gained entry by breaking the lock. It looks like they knew that the inmates of these houses were not there," Hayathnagar police said.  However, thieves failed to find valubles in the residences of Nagaraju and Ramachandra Reddy. Police are investigating the case and have registered a case.
