MANGALORE: Three Bajrang Dal activists who disrupted a rave party in Ullal were arrested by the Ullal police, senior police officials confirmed on Monday.Panambur ACP Puttamadaiah who is investigating the case, refused to give any information. Police sources said that three Bajrang Dal activists had been arrested and they are on the lookout for other suspects.Bajrang Dal city convenor Sharan Pumpwell, when contacted, regretted that the police were evincing more interest in arresting the activists, instead of booking cases against the youth who were using drugs and partying into the wee hours.“If the police had acted as expected from them, hundreds of families would have been saved from the drug menace,” he stressed. The Ullal police clarified that the students were celebrating another students’ birthday and did not have a rave party.
