TIRUPATI: TTD’s initiative titled ‘Subhapradham’, a two-week-long intense training programme, which will be conducted by TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) is unique for more than one reason. The course, includes important aspects of religion, and at the same time has not ignored modern concepts essential for present day youth, to lead a prosperous and healthy life.Further, the programme is only for teenagers, taking into consideration that, any impact made at this impressionable age will be everlasting, said HDPP secretary Kasireddy Venkat Reddy.TTD jt EO, Venkatrami Reddy said that the response has been overwhelming, with more than 3,500 persons, including 1,000 girls already registering. First, only one camp was proposed for the girls in Tirupati, but now there will be two. In Tirupati, TTD chairman will inaugurate the 3 camps on Tuesday, while board members will do the honours in other places.Talking to Express, Venkat Reddy, the man behind the framing of the path-breaking spiritual course for youth, said that the trainee has to undergo a rigorous regimen. The course starts with ‘Suprabhatham’ at 5 a.m. and ends with ishta goshti at 9.30 p.m. Overall the trainees have to be active from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. The TTD will provide free lodging and boarding to the participants. The daily course encapsulates more than a dozen aspects, including salient features of Hindu dharma.
