THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance Court on Wednesday asked the team investigating the alleged corruption in sanctioning a waste treatment plant for Travancore Titanium Products Ltd, to submit the progress report made in the case in a week’s time.The court had allowed the petition filed against Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala in connection with the alleged corruption. The petition was filed by one Jayan, a former employee of Travancore Titanium Products Ltd. The petition alleged corruption to the tune of Rs 250 crore in connection with the sanctioning of the project. The case has been posted for further hearing on September 1.
