SALEPUR: In a tragic incident, two persons met a watery grave in the river Mahanadi on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Rajkishore Sahoo (22) of Nahanga under Mahanga police limits and Rajesh Sahoo (21) of Samanga under Jagatsinghpur police limits. They had come to the house of their relative Bijaya Sahoo of Sagadiapatana under Kissan Nagar police limits for a wedding. The trio were bathing on the banks of the Mahanadi near Sani temple when they slipped and fell into the water. After half an hour, locals fished out the bodies of Rajkishore and Rajesh. Bijay was rescued in a critical state and has been admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. The bodies have been sent to SCB Medical for post-mortem and an unnatural death case has been registered with the Kissan Nagar police.
