Two men kidnap, gangrape Dalit girls, threaten to kill them; one arrested

Two minor Dalit girls were gangraped by two men on Monday in Bihar's Banka district, police said. One of the accused has been arrested.

The incident took place near Ashaura village, about 200 km from in Patna.

"The girls were kidnapped when they were returning to their village after collecting wood for fuel," a district police official said. "Both the girls have been sent for medical test."

The victims told police that the accused threatened to kill them if they went to the police, the official said.
