HYDERABAD:The CBI searches on Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s business interests and on people associated with his businesses went on for the second consecutive day on Friday covering more than seven places in the city and some others in neighbouring districts. The search teams left the Dilkusa Guest House at Somajiguda one by one around 8.30 a.m. and within minutes reached their designated targets.Nimmagadda FoundationAround 8.45 a.m., a seven-member team of officials arrived at the Nimmagadda Foundation’s office in Flat No. 202 of Gayatri Arcade opposite Apollo Hospitals, Vayupuri.The foundation is run by Nimmagadda Prasad and is reportedly managed by his brother Sanjeev. Another firm, G-2 Corporate Services, is also being run from the same premises. The foundation used to function from a premises near Yashoda hospital, Secunderabad.Interestingly, there’s no sign board or a banner on the three-storeyed commercial complex to indicate the presence of the foundation office there. Searches continued till late in the evening.Aurobindo Pharma LimitedA team of four officials reached the five-storeyed Aurobindo Pharma administrative office at Ameerpet first while another team went to the finance section of the firm located in Flat Nos 601 and 602 in the Aditya Trade Centre right opposite to it. CBI officials were seen moving with some documents from the finance office to the main office in Maitri Vihar on the busy Ameerpet road. Investigators reportedly seized some computer hard disks and incriminating files from the office.VanpicThe focal point of the CBI searches on Friday. A number of companies, Matrix Enport, Vanpic Ports Private Limited, Vanpic Projects Private Limited, Vanpic Shipyards Private Limited and Grafix Engineering Consultant Private Limited run from the same premises in Meenakshi Banjara Ville located behind the TDP party office, NTR Trust Bhavan, in Banjara Hills. CBI inspector general V V Lakshminarayana spent nearly two hours in the Vanpic offices supervising the searches. CBI seized several documents from here. The companies are owned by Nimmagadda Prasad who is popularly known as Matrix Prasad.Brahmani InfotechThe firm functions from the third floor of Navabharat Chambers beside the HSBC Bank on the busy Somajiguda road but does not have a single board. It is run by Chaitanya Reddy. A nine-member CBI team reached the building within minutes of starting from the Dilkusha Guest House. They initially went inside the Nav Bharat Ventures and Nav Bharat Constructions situated in the same building but quickly found their way back to the Brahmani Infotech and verified documents there. Within half-an-hour of the arrival of the CBI team, Chaitanya Reddy too reached the office.Started a couple of years ago, the firm used to have hundreds of employees earlier but the number now fell down to three to four employees. Searches are still on.Penna CementSearches continued till evening in the Penna Cements Private Limited owned by Pratap Reddy. It runs from a four-storeyed building in Sriniketan Colony on Road No 3, Banjara Hills. The CBI sleuths confined their searches to the finance and administration sections of the office and normal work was not affected there. Searches were also said to have been conducted in Pratap Reddy’s house at Banjara Hills.RRGlobal Enterprises Private LimitedSaid to be owned by R Ramakrishna Reddy, the editorial director of Sakshi newspaper, the firm is operated from the third floor of Krishna Sindhu Residence on Road No 2, Banjara Hills. Interestingly, the office of Sakshi’s finance director Vijay Sai Reddy is run from the first floor of the same building and the CBI sleuths conducted searches on the office yesterday. The raids continued till late in the evening.Searches were also conducted at Hetero group at Polepally SEZ and Aurobindo pharma in Jadcherla.
