New Delhi: It's confirmed! Actor Vishal will now be working with ace filmmaker Bala once again! Vishal says, 'It is true. I will be working with director Bala after 'Samaran' and my film with director Lingusamy. However, I will be working with him only next year."
It is no secret that the actor and director got along like a house on fire while working on Bala's earlier film 'Avan Ivan', despite the fact that Vishal's role was a demanding one in the film. Vishal had to sport a squint all through the film – something that no hero had done before in Tamil.
The effort was rewarded. Bala was quoted as saying that Vishal would win a National award for his efforts in the film. It therefore comes as no surprise that the two are working together again.
Commenting on how and when the decision was made, Vishal says, "Bala sir suddenly called me up on Saturday and we had a discussion at his office. He narrated the gist of his story and I agreed. Only he can come up with something like this and it is bound to leave audiences impressed."
Giving more details before signing off, Vishal says, "It's a solo hero project and not a periodic flick. The other members of the cast are being finalized."
