New Delhi: Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam' might not have been able to see the light of the day in Tamil Nadu, but the film's Hindi version 'Vishwaroop', which has been released in India on Friday, is doing good business at the box office. The film has collected Rs 4.46 crore in two days.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Vishwaroop [Hindi version] Fri 1.89 cr, Sat [revised] 2.57 cr. Total: Rs 4.46 cr."
Made on a budget of Rs 95 crore, 'Vishwaroop' has been released in 1000 screens in India. The film had raked in Rs 1.89 crore on its opening day. After releasing the film in Hindi, Kamal Haasan has agreed to edit a few parts of Tamil version 'Vishwaroopam' and release it in Tamil Nadu.
The film stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Jaideep Alahwat, Shekhar Kapur and Jeremiah Andrea.
