With an eye on the Assembly elections which are due this year, BJP is planning to organise a 'youth festival' on the occasion of foundation-laying ceremony of IT major TCS at Indore's Super Corridor SEZ on August 10.
"With an aim to attract large number of young and first- time voters, we are organising this festival," BJP sources said. Madhya Pradesh IT Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya met the principals of various colleges in the city on August 5 to ensure maximum participation of students, they added.
The state has allotted 100 acres of land to TCS at concessional rates for setting up its facility in Indore. The company will invest Rs 550 crore under the first phase.
