KOCHI: Police arrested a woman on charges of cheating several people by promising them job in foreign countries. The arrested has been identified as Jayashree, 40, wife of Sunil Kumar who were living at a rented house in Peroorkada, Thiruvananthapuram. According to police, Jayashree and her husband collected money from several people in Varapuzha, Cheranelloor, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Idukki. They carried out the fraudulent activities from a rented house in Vyttila. The arrest was made on a case in which the couple collected Rs. 50,000 from a person in February 2008 by promising him a job in Sharjah.
