THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 35-year-old woman died on Wednesday after a branch of a tree fell over the car she was travelling at Navaikulam near Attingal. The deceased was identified as Saira of Kinattuvila Veedu at Kananalloor in Kollam. According to sources, the accident occurred around 8 p m when Saira and family were travelling from Attingal to Kollam. She was sitting in the back seat of the car while her husband, Saheer Shah drove the vehicle with their daughter Abhina beside him. When the car reached Navaikulam, a branch of a tree on the side of the road suddenly fell on the vehicle crushing the back side of the car where Saira was sitting. Even though she was rushed to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital her life could not be saved. Saheer Shah and Abhina escaped without any injuries.
