A police team from Ganjam left for Surat on Saturday to take him into custody.The clash last year saw two persons being killed and 20 houses and several motorcycles gutted.The Government had asked the RDC (south) to conduct an inquiry into the incident. Pradhan had fled while the inquiry was on.       Pensions DistributedAs many as 595 persons of 17 panchayats under Chikiti block received Madhu Babu old age and physically challenged pension.Textiles Minister Usha Devi distributed the pension among the beneficiaries at a function on Saturday. Block Chairman M Nagraju and BDO Rajendra Kumar Ranjit were present.While 438 persons received pension for three months under Madhu Babu Yojana, the remaining beneficiaries received pension under the physically-disabled scheme for nine months.                                                      Postman ElectrocutedA postman, Ratnakar Malik (55), died of electrocution while on duty.
