BANGALORE: YSR Memorial Trust has made arrangements to celebrate Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s 62nd birth anniversary on August 14 at King’s Court, Bangalore Palace.Speaking to Express, B Venkatakrishna Reddy, president, YSR Memorial Trust, said that more than 5,000 people are expected to attend the function. The Trust will felicitate J S Reddy, Balaveera Reddy, Sunil Kumar, Tallam Venkatesh, Krishna Reddy of Nagarjuna Group of Hotels, Radhakrishna Raju, K K Nagaraj and Prasada Rao on the occasion for their contribution to society.The Trust plans to organise a blood donation camp and eye pledge programme.“The target is to collect 500 units of blood from donors. We also expect considerable number of people to support eye pledge programme. The blood donation camp is being organised in association with Lion’s Club of Bangalore Greater Koramangala,” said K Bhaktavatsala Reddy, vice president of the Trust.MLA Vijayalakshmi will be the chief guest. The programme will begin at 10 am and conclude at 2 pm.
