Squid Game Actor Lee Byung-hun's LA Home Damaged In Burglary Attempt: Report
Lee Byung-hun, the actor, was away from home when intruders broke in and attempted a robbery.

In a shocking turn of events, actor Lee Byung-hun, known for his role in Squid Game, faced a break-in at his Los Angeles residence. As per the reports, the burglars targeted his home last week, leaving it in disarray after attempting theft. While Byung Hun was not at home, the discovery was made by one of his staff members who visited the house. The thieves gained entry by smashing a sliding glass door, and while the actor was out of town, it remains uncertain if any belongings were taken.

According to the local police, Lee Byung-hun will be the one to go through the things and confirm if anything is missing. The law enforcement officials further believe that Lee Byung-hun wasn’t targeted in the burglary; instead, it appears to be the work of one of the burglary groups that has been robbing wealthy neighbourhoods around Los Angeles, reported TMZ.

Although the actor has not provided his response to the incident, his agency, BH Entertainment, did confirm the reports and issue a statement assuring that no one was harmed in the robbery. “We have confirmed that Lee Byung Hun’s home in the United States was robbed. No one [physically] harmed,” the statement read.

Notably, Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min Jung purchased this $2 million lavish house in Los Angeles back in 2019. The two got married in 2013 and have a son, Joon-Ho. Recently, in December 2023, the couple welcomed a baby girl.

This incident came days after another smash-and-grab burglary that involved actress Lena Waithe. Famous for her performance in shows like Master of None, the 39-year-old actress became a robbery victim after burglars broke into her Los Angeles residence and managed to rob jewellery.
