One can trust actor Alia Bhatt to come up with chic looks for any occasion. Over the years, the 30-year-old actress has proved that she can ace every look be it traditional, western, classic, or dramatic. Recently, the actress attended two Christmas parties. On both occasions, she opted for simple dresses that prioritised her comfort and kept the makeup and accessories minimal. Alia Bhatt wore a dress by Hervé Léger and Summer Somewhere. While Hervé Léger is an international label based out of France, Summer Somewhere is a relatively smaller label based in Mumbai.
Alia attended a Christmas party at her mother Soni Razdan’s residence in Mumbai. For the occasion, she dressed in a lime green fringe dress from Hervé Léger. This dress is estimated to cost over one lakh rupees.
She shared pictures from the intimate celebration with her husband Ranbir Kapoor, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and filmmaker Ayan Mukherjee on her Instagram. She wrote, “grateful for this bunch.. grateful for so so much..merry merry christmas & happy happy always.”

Alia also attended her in-law’s Christmas party and wore a floral print mini dress by Summer Somewhere. This dress, named Evora Mini Dress, retails for Rs 6,590. What makes the Evora dress special is its sleeve design. The right side of the dress is sleeveless, while the left side has a full bell sleeve. The dress has an A-line flow which gives it a sleek look.
Before leaving for the Christmas party hosted by the Kapoor family, Alia and Ranbir formally introduced their one-year-old daughter Raha to the paparazzi. Before introducing Raha, Ranbir requested the paparazzi to not shout too loudly.

This is not the first time that Alia has worn Hervé Léger and Summer Somewhere. Back in June this year, Alia wore a green gown by Hervé Léger at Netflix’s Tudum fan festival in Brazil.

She attended the festival to promote her Netflix original film, Heart of Stone, alongside actors Gal Gadot and Jamie Dorman. Alia paired her green dress with black heels and kept the makeup and accessories to the minimum. She wore her hair in a simple side-swept.

Summer Somewhere is run by Meghna Goyal, who is Alia Bhatt’s school friend. As per the label’s website, “Summer Somewhere is a conscious clothing brand designed for every girl in pursuit of an endless summer.” Summer Somewhere was launched in December 2019.
