Add the powder to warm water and mix it with honey to make an herbal tea for drinking. It acts as a good laxative. Constipation is cured by consuming Aavaram flowers boiled with dal. Add Aavaram flower powder, panangarupatti and cardamom seeds and drink it. Honey can also be used as a remedy. It is also a thirst-quenching drink.
The herbal extracts of Avarampoo are said to be helpful in diabetes. You can also drink the juice of Awarambu. Mix Aavaram flower powder with chickpea flour and gram flour. If you add paneer to it and apply it on your skin, your skin will look rosy. Aavaram poo drink reduces urine hardness. The juice prepared from the root acts as a natural diuretic and protects the kidneys. Aavaram flowers are used to reduce fever when it is high.
If one soaks Aavaram flowers in water and drinks the water, it is said to reduce fever. Aavaram flowers help in treating skin problems and heal skin wounds. In cleaning wounds, boil the root and leaves of the Aavaram flower in water and wash the wound while it is still warm. If the skin is inflamed, the bark is boiled with water and cleaned for which the inflammation gradually goes down.
For those with dandruff, mix avaram flower powder, fenugreek powder and aloe vera gel evenly and apply them on the scalp after 30 minutes and wash the hair with shampoo to get rid of the dandruff problem. Aavaram poo has various medicinal properties but should be used after consulting a doctor.
