Are you always on the go and looking for a convenient way to stay hydrated? A flask water bottle may be just what you need. Flask water bottles offer numerous benefits over regular water bottles, making them the perfect accessory for those who value staying refreshed and hydrated. The main feature of these bottles is that they sustain the temperature of the liquid stored inside them. So you can use the flask bottle to store cold water on a long drive in a summer afternoon or steaming hot tea or coffee on a winter morning.
However, one aspect that we commonly overlook is proper cleaning of the flask at regular intervals. It is very easy for fungus and bacteria to accumulate in the rubber areas, especially in summer. Simply rinsing it with water does very little to do away with the germs. We will list a few ways to effectively clean your flask bottles.
The first method involves several steps to effectively clean the bottle. Begin by pouring half a cup of white vinegar into the bottle. Following this, add one tablespoon of baking soda. The combination of these two substances will trigger a chemical reaction that helps to break down any residue inside the bottle. Next, fill the bottle with hot water and let it sit undisturbed for 10 minutes. This allows the vinegar and baking soda mixture to further loosen any dirt and grime. After the 10 minutes have passed, use a brush and a clean cloth to thoroughly scrub the interior of the bottle.
Another way is to fill half a cup of small ice cubes in the bottle and add 2 tablespoons of salt to it. Salt has antibacterial properties. Now close its lid properly and shake the bottle well 10 to 12 times. Now scrub the inside of the thermos and everywhere else with the help of a brush. This way the bottle will be cleaned thoroughly.
