Observed on the Purnima of Shravan, Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a famous Hindu festival which celebrates the bonding between brothers and sisters. It is said that on Raksha Bandhan, siblings vow to protect each other from all the evils of the world. This year, Raksha Bandhan will be celebrated on Thursday, August 15.
