Sankarshan said in an interview, “My phone has become very busy in the last two days. Because these big people are really big, we just hate each other and do each other dirty. In the last two days, I have been getting calls from Raj Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray and Vinod Tawde.”

“Sharad Pawar Saheb has not spoken to me personally. I don’t know if I can say this personally but I have received a call from one of his close relatives,” he said.

Sankarshan further said that Vinod Tawde called, and his wife sent me a message of appreciation. “Raj Thackeray called me to meet at home. Raj Thackeray was at his house with his wife. He was communicating very openly. He was chatting to me about what was going on, how the play was going, where I live, who all are at home, cinema, India, and about Maharashtra. Yesterday I got a call from Uddhav Thackeray too. He also said that very good poems have been written. I asked them, are you angry? So he said, ‘Not at all, in today’s times we need someone to write the truth so that the facts reach us too. From now on, keep up the good writing. He also told our producers that Ashish Shelar will also come to watch the programme soon,” he noted.
