Adari Murthy Sai’s Telugu Film Dirty Fellow Pre-Release Event Held In Hyderabad

Writer and filmmaker Adari Murthy Sai directed Telugu film Dirty Fellow will be released on the big screens on May 24. Recently, the pre-release event of the movie was held in Hyderabad. President of the Telugu Film Directors Association, Veera Shankar and actor Sampoornesh Babu were invited as chief guests at this event. Sampoornesh Babu said at the event that actor Shanti Chandra is like a brother to me. He added that Chandra is a talented artist. Sampoornesh Babu recalled asking Adari Murthy the reason behind the title of the movie. The director replied that there can be no other choice for this movie except the title Dirty Fellow. Murthy said that he is happy that Chandra, who is passionate for cinema, is acting in this movie as a hero. According to Sampoornesh Babu, he has seen the film’s songs and trailer and appreciated its storyline. Sampoornesh Babu wished Dirty Fellow to be a stellar success.

Adari Murthy also expressed his opinions at the press conference. He said that he had treated everyone, who worked in the movie Dirty Fellow, like a family. Adari Murthy recalled that at one point of time, everyone used to celebrate the centenary (the hundredth anniversary) of our films. Now, the filmmaker said that in today’s time, the recall of the film is not more than a couple of days due to alternative forms of entertainment. He said that the films have been facing intense competition from television and suffered massive losses due to the problems of piracy.

According to Adari Murthy, Telugu cinema has managed to make great strides in the entertainment sector despite these losses. He said that films should be bestowed respect by watching it in the cinema halls only. He also emphasised on the need of protecting the genre of short films.

Veera Shankar also appreciated Adari Murthy for leaving no stone unturned in making Dirty Fellow. The TFDAP recalled the Dirty Fellow’s director taking care of the film’s rushes and then making improvements if required.
