Aishwarya Arjun and Umapathy Ramaiah are now married. The actress-daughter of South Indian star Arjun tied the knot with the son of popular supporting actor Thambi Ramaiah on June 10 in Chennai. On Tuesday, the couple shared a joint post on their Instagram handles to share their first glimpse as bride and groom.

In the photos, Aishwarya Arjun looked prettiest in a red saree with she accessorised with traditional heavy jewellery. On the other hand, Umapathy Ramaiah opted for white attire and looked charming as a groom. Reportedly, Aishwarya and Umapathy’s wedding ceremony took place at a Hanuman temple built by Arjun in Gerugambakkam, Tamil Nadu. It was attended by several celebrities including Samuthirakani, director KS Ravikumar, and veteran actor Vijayakumar.

Previously, Haldi and Mehendi photos of the couple also surfaced on social media. Aishwarya looked stunning in a vibrant yellow Anamika Khanna outfit, complementing the traditional decor themed ‘The Sky Turned Pink,’ which featured a dreamy setup complete with special Agra chaat.

Aishwarya Arjun debuted in 2013 with the action-comedy film Pattathu Yaanai, co-starring Vishal and Santhanam. Despite several subsequent appearances, she struggled to make a lasting impact on the audience. Another notable film was Prema Baraha, directed by her father Arjun Sarja and produced by her mother Niveditha Arjun. Released in both Tamil and Kannada in 2018, the bi-lingual film achieved commercial success in Karnataka, while the Tamil version saw average box office performance.
