Allu Arjun extended his support to Samantha Ruth Prabhu after Konda Surekha made shocking claims about her divorce. The political leader claimed that KTR caused a rift in Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s marriage, which resulted in their divorce. Samantha and Chaitanya have condemned the claims. Allu Arjun also issued a statement, supporting Samantha and along with the hashtag, ‘Film Industry Will Not Tolerate.’

“I strongly condemn the baseless derogatory comments made about film personalities and film families. This behaviour is deeply disrespectful and goes against the values of our Telugu culture. Such irresponsible actions should not be accepted as normal. I urge the parties involved to act more responsibly and respect individual privacy, especially towards women. We must promote respect and dignity in social as a whole,” he wrote.

For the unversed, Konda Surekha claimed that BRS president KT Rama Rao was responsible for Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s divorce. This has sparked a wave of controversy. According to Surekha, KTR’s alleged interference caused disturbances in the Akkineni family, which ultimately led to the high-profile divorce.

Surekha claimed that KT Rama Rao demanded that Samantha be sent to him in exchange for sparing Nagarjuna Akkineni’s N-Convention Centre from demolition. Surekha claimed that Samantha refused and it led to her separation from Naga Chaitanya. “KTR asked to send Samantha in return for not demolishing the N-convention centre. Nagarjuna forced Samantha to go to KTR, but she said no. That led to divorce,” Surekha was quoted as saying by Deccan Herald.

Samantha reacted to the claim with a statement on Instagram. She said, “Konda Surekha Garu, I am proud of what this journey turned me into—please don’t trivialise it. I hope you realise that your words carry significant weight as a minister. I implore you to be responsible and respectful of individuals’ privacy.”
