Four members of the Bachchan family – Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan - contracted COVID-19. Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya were discharged from the hospital a few days ago. However, Amitabh and Abhishek are still recuperating at Nanavati hospital.
Both Amitabh and Abhishek keep updating their followers on social media about their health and daily routine at the hospital.
Jr Bachchan recently uploaded a picture of the hospital corridor on Instagram. He captioned it as, “Light at the end of the tunnel! #latenightwalks.”
Responding to his post, some of his family members and friends commented. His sister Shweta Bachchan wrote “soon” in the comment section, whereas, choreographer and movie director Farah Khan said get well soon. Actress Sonali Bendre also commented on the post by dropping a rainbow and smiling sun emoji. Sr Bachchan, on the other hand, talked about nothingness in his blog. Amitabh said, “the most awaited in the day are the timings of the visits of the doctors and nurses .. the medication and the treatment hours.” In the blog, he also revealed about the treatment, his daily check-ups, love and blessings he receives from well-wishers and expressed his views on life. Meanwhile, in an earlier, Abhishek had shared a picture of dawn, asking people to stay positive. He wrote, “Always believe that the sun will shine through! Always.”
Amitabh and Abhishek were admitted to the hospital earlier this month after they tested COVID-19 positive. Ever since their fans and friends have been praying for their speedy recovery.
